As a Machine Operator at our Millington facility, youwill set up and operate brake press and punch press equipment, interpreting blueprints and adjusting programs to produce accurate, consistent parts. This role includes performing inspections, making machine adjustments, and maintaining equipment while meeting production goals for quality, efficiency, and safety. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Set up and run brake press and punch press machinery, including choosing tooling and adjusting programs. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and job routings to determine machine settings and production requirements. Perform trial runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and part consistency. Conduct in-process inspections, verifying parts meet tolerances and quality standards. Follow safety protocols, maintain clean work areas, and perform minor maintenance. Meet daily production targets for accuracy, speed, and quality while minimizing waste. YOU HAVE: High school diploma or GED 1-3 years of experience working with brake press or punch press machinery in a manufacturing setting. Proficiency in reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and shop math. Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and angle gauges. Good mechanical competence and problem-solving skills. Team members must be able to safely perform a range of physical activities, including standing and walking for extended periods, with frequent use of hands for tasks requiring dexterity and grip. Roles may require frequent bending, kneeling, and maintaining balance, with occasional climbing or repositioning to support production needs. This position is classified as medium work, requiring the ability to lift, carry, or move materials up to 50 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs consistently. Employees must be able to effectively communicate, hear, and visually assess work to ensure quality, safety, and accuracy in a manufacturing environment. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply. Compensation Range: $14.80 - $27.50 Per Hour Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
