Position Summary

The Senior Contracts Administrator supports the full lifecycle of contract and subcontract administration for both commercial and U.S. Government programs. This role partners closely with Contracts leadership, program teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliant, accurate, and timely execution of contractual obligations. The ideal candidate brings a working knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This position plays a key role in safeguarding the company's interests while enabling successful program execution across defense, intelligence, and space customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support Director of Contracts for corporate contract and subcontract administration for Commercial and Federal Agency contracts.
  • Review, negotiate, and administer prime contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, teaming agreements, consulting agreements, purchase orders, and other contractual agreements.
  • Manage contracts through the full lifecycle, including proposal, award, execution, modifications, change management, closeout, and record retention.
  • Support proposal preparation, contract review, compliance matrices, and solicitation analysis for commercial and Government opportunities.
  • Coordinates with technical and/or corporate divisions on contract review, compliance and execution.
  • Leads and supports the preparation, negotiation, and administration of proposals, agreements, contracts, subcontracts, modifications, and related contractual activities in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Identify contractual risks and provide recommendations to management regarding mitigation strategies.
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and related federal procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Support Government Property and Government Property Audits.
  • Effectively interact with executive-level internal and external parties

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience / combined education)
  • 6+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree OR 4+ years with a Master's degree (10+ years of related experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree)
  • Experience negotiating contractual terms and conditions with commercial and Government customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Microsoft Office computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV Accounting Software
  • Strong working knowledge of export compliance regulations and U.S. Government contracting requirements, including ITAR, FAR, and DFARS.
  • Experience supporting Government Property administration activities, including GFP tracking, property clauses, DCMA interactions, and compliance with FAR Part 45 and DFARS 252.245 requirements preferred.
