As a Security Officer - Unarmed Gate in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a residential location, where you will help manage entry points, monitor visitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for residents and guests. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by following site-specific access control procedures and community policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to the residential location.
• Document visitor activity, vehicle information, deliveries, and/or unusual incidents in required logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify security-related concerns and report issues promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 or more years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
