We're seeking a future team member for the role of Sr. Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting to join our Client Activation Team. This role is located in Lake Mary, Fl. Overview: The Onboarding Specialist supports the seamless onboarding and integration of both new client mandates and internal migrations into BNY's operating model. Working closely with the Client Activation Management and cross-functional teams, this role assists in coordinating client onboarding activities, gathering requirements, and facilitating communication to ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations. This position is ideal for candidates eager to develop expertise in financial services operations, client onboarding, and stakeholder management. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist as a point of contact for clients during onboarding, helping to manage expectations and respond to inquiries.
- Support the preparation of onboarding workshops and working sessions.
- Collect and document requirements, supporting gap analysis of incumbent data against BNY's standard platform requirements.
- Maintain clear and organized records of integration plans.
- Collaborate with operations, technology, and product teams to support cross-functional onboarding efforts.
- Assist in migration planning and tracking implementation milestones to ensure timely delivery.
- Contribute to solution design discussions by providing operational insights and escalating issues as needed.
- Stay informed on relevant regulatory and operational frameworks impacting onboarding processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused mindset.
- Basic understanding of financial services operations and client onboarding processes is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with project management software is advantageous.
