As a Security Officer Roving Patrol in Dalton, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology-focused location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Working with agility, reliability, and integrity, you will contribute to a caring team environment while helping promote a secure and welcoming experience for everyone on site.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support access control procedures for restricted areas.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
