About the Job

The College of Pharmacy at the University of Minnesota occasionally needs temporary employees to carry out various projects and provide support in the following areas: administration, communications, community engagement, events, technology, and research. This does not constitute a posting for vacancies, but establishes a pool of applicants should openings occur. Applications will not be acknowledged upon receipt and will only be reviewed should openings occur.

The work schedule is temporary in nature, meaning the employee is limited to 67 days of work in a calendar year. Employees working in this position are paid an hourly rate; are not eligible for retirement plans, health insurance, vacation, sick leave, or the Regents Scholarship.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the staff and faculty in the College of Pharmacy
  • Gather and analyze data
  • Additional duties as recommended by hiring department

Minimum hourly salary of $15.25 depending on education/qualifications/experience.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or a combo of education and work experiences to total 4 years
  • Experience in, and an ongoing commitment to, working effectively with and across diverse communities: including people of color, underrepresented groups and new immigrant populations; American Indians; people with both visible and invisible disabilities; women; people of various gender and sexual identities and expressions; and first-generation students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $15.25; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
