Temporary Nonexempt

The College of Pharmacy at the University of Minnesota occasionally needs temporary employees to carry out various projects and provide support in the following areas: administration, communications, community engagement, events, technology, and research. This does not constitute a posting for vacancies, but establishes a pool of applicants should openings occur. The work schedule is temporary in nature, meaning the employee is limited to 67 days of work in a calendar year. Employees working in this position are paid an hourly rate; are not eligible for retirement plans, health insurance, vacation, sick leave, or the Regents Scholarship.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Support the staff and faculty in the College of Pharmacy
• Gather and analyze data
• Additional duties as recommended by hiring department

Minimum hourly salary of $15.25 depending on education/qualifications/experience.

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree or a combo of education and work experiences to total 4 years
• Experience in, and an ongoing commitment to, working effectively with and across diverse communities: including people of color, underrepresented groups and new immigrant populations; American Indians; people with both visible and invisible disabilities; women; people of various gender and sexual identities and expressions; and first-generation students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Pay Range: $15.25; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
