| Job Summary |
This position is to manage lost, found, safekeeping, evidentiary and non-evidentiary property and any records pertaining to said property in a timely manner. |
| Minimum Education and Experience |
HSD/
GED. Four (4) years of related experience. Valid Class C Drivers License and a clear driving record. |
| Preferred Education and Experience |
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Detailed oriented (May be asked to testify in criminal court cases)

| Other Qualifications |
To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position. |
| Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
- Review evidentiary items for proper disposal after SOL.
- Preparing monthly reports.
- Communication regarding property to inquiries filed online, phone, or walk-in.
- Review evidence in lockers for accuracy/completeness.
- Scanning documents into our reporting system.
- Transferring unclaimed property to Surplus.
- Entering lost and found property with a brief but identifiable description to properly release to prospective owner
- Scheduling pick-up all around campus.
- Communication with internal staff and campus community.
- Maintaining security, integrity and accurate location of property.
