Specialty Software Engineer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Specialty Software Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Minneapolis, MN, Charlotte, NC, Des Moines, IA, or San Antonio, TX. This is a 24+ month contract opportunity.

In this role, you will design, engineer, and advance enterprise security and data-driven solutions. You will lead the strategy and resolution of complex challenges, particularly in risk reporting and analytics, applying advanced industry techniques to deliver long-term, innovative outcomes. This position plays a key role in transformation and modernization efforts, supporting a data-driven, highly automated organization within the overall cyber data strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning
• Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term software engineering challenges
• Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance
• Design and implement security architecture and defense strategies
• Enable security automation and DevSecOps practices
• Drive continuous improvement aligned with regulatory standards
• Collaborate closely with product owners and key partners to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions
• Explore advanced technologies such as machine learning and AI
• Respond quickly to critical leadership requests for data, reporting, and solutions

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education
• Proven leadership experience
• Expertise in automation and making processes more efficient with data
• Strong experience with Power BI, Fabric, Python, and Alteryx
• Ability to strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel

Pay range: $71.88 - $79.88 per hour
