What We're Looking For:

The Sr. People Operations Specialist I position serves as an integral member of the People Operations team and reports directly to the People Operations Team Manager in the Americas. The role is responsible for delivering essential HR services to managers and employees across the organization. It will play a key part in ensuring operational excellence through the effective execution of onboarding and offboarding processes, Workday employee transactions, employee lifecycle changes, new hire orientations, benefits administration, and other critical HR functions.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fastpaced, highengagement environment and demonstrates a strong commitment to improving and modernizing even the most routine HR processes. As a front-line representative of the People Operations function, this individual will collaborate closely with employees, managers, and HR partners. Success in this role requires comfort and experience working with geographically dispersed teams while consistently providing exceptional HR support.

What You'll Do:
  • Oversee core People Operations functions, including new hire orientation, benefits administration, HRIS support, and general administrative tasks.
  • Manage the endtoend onboarding process, including background checks, documentation, and new hire setup.
  • Process employee lifecycle transactions in Workday such as comp adjustments, promotions, transfers, job changes, bonuses, and relocations with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Administer company benefits programs and serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries.
  • Provide exceptional employee support on inquiries, policies, benefits, resources, and HR procedures, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Act as the main liaison for benefit vendors and lead daytoday benefits administration activities.
  • Manage benefit invoices and coordinate with the benefits broker to address employee questions.
  • Support medical benefits renewals and employee enrollments across the Americas (US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil).
  • Manage I-9 Employment Verifications via E-Verify and Workday.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with outsourced HR and benefits partners.
  • Execute handson transactional processing for new hires, terminations, compensation changes, and immigration updates.
  • Collaborate with the People Team on priority initiatives and daily operational needs.
  • Support People Operations projects to enhance processes, systems, and the overall employee experience.
  • Partner closely with stakeholders such as Payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of final payments, etc.

What You Bring:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a People Operations role within a fastpaced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience using Workday in an HR capacity strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and G-Suite.
  • Ability to build effective Excel reports and apply analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage competing deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • A flexible, curious, and ownershipdriven mindset, with the ability to thrive in fastchanging or ambiguous situations.

Compensation Overview

At Meltwater, we believe great impact deserves great reward. Our compensation approach is data-driven, market-informed, and built to scale with your growth. We benchmark roles against external market data and use structured leveling frameworks to ensure fairness, consistency, and internal equity across teams and geographies.

These frameworks are based on objective, gender-neutral criteria in line with applicable pay transparency regulations.

For this role, the base salary range: $70,040-$87,550

Actual offers are determined based on job-related skills, experience, demonstrated capabilities, and work location. We typically hire within the range in a way that supports long-term growth, recognizing that compensation evolves as scope, performance, and impact expand over time.
