United States, Virginia, McLean
May 01, 2026

Description

Leidos Intelligence Group is seeking a Systems Analyst to support business process management, systems analysis, and data analytics during the transition to an enhanced case management system.

Primary Responsibilities:

This candidate will be a part of the office that manages harassment allegations, workplace conflicts, and employee grievances, utilizing a case management system (CMS) to maintain detailed records.

This system captures structured data across cases, enabling analysis and the creation of reports, dashboards, and visualizations that support business insights and data quality assessments.

The organization is currently transitioning from a legacy system-requiring manual data exports and analysis in tools such as Excel and Tableau-to a custom-built platform with integrated, out-of-the-box dashboard capabilities.

The Systems Analyst will extract and analyze raw CMS data (CSV format), ensuring data integrity by identifying and resolving gaps and inconsistencies.

The role includes gathering user requirements, recommending system enhancements, and collaborating with the Sponsor Program Manager to prioritize development efforts.

Additionally, the Systems Analyst will work closely with developers to ensure accurate translation of business needs into technical solutions. Responsibilities also include producing data reports and visualizations, evaluating reporting effectiveness, and recommending improvements.

The Systems Analyst will assess and enhance internal knowledge management practices, implement best practices, and monitor ongoing effectiveness. The role also involves maintaining system documentation, training materials, and business process maps using Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN).

Further duties include identifying process improvements across both manual and automated workflows, delivering onboarding briefings and system training for new employees, and providing ongoing guidance on case management procedures and system usage.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have an active TS/SCI with Poly to be considered

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of experience OR a Master's degree and at least 10 years of experience

  • Experience using Excel and Tableau to perform data analysis, to include writing formulas and basic coding to elevate analysis capabilities beyond the basic functionality of those platforms.

  • Experience creating insightful and focused infographics in Excel and Tableau that meet basic graphic design best practices

  • Experience clearly briefing, providing instruction, and creating reference materials for activities such as on boarding or user engagement.

  • Experience performing small-scope business process analysis to identify areas of opportunity for integration and efficiency.

  • Experience clearly drafting, defining, communicating, and implementing metrics-based and workforce-vetted process improvements.

  • Experience identifying, proposing, and facilitating the implementation of comprehensive and multi-modal knowledge management best practices
