Osaic has returned to the office on a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 4 days weekly in the office.

Summary:

Production Support Specialist will be a member of IA Platform Production Support Team, a group of subject matter experts on the operations of the firm's investment advisory platform, WMP (Wealth Management Platform), and the business application in an advisory practice. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide support to both internal and external clients on the implementation and usage of WMP. This position will represent the interests of the investment advisory services business and its clients in their essential duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a troubleshooter for investment advisory platform issues, handling issues through

  • resolution coordinating with multiple groups. Works with other departments (Marketing, IT,

  • Operations, etc.) to obtain information or troubleshoot system issues. Keep financial

  • professionals and home office stakeholders informed of potential issues and resolution.

  • Effectively prioritize issues based on severity and business priority.

  • Working with 3rd party vendors and strategists with production related issues or questions.

  • Report, track and escalate as needed while working through resolution internally and to external related vendors.

  • Work with Envestnet to test and understand their ongoing annual releases and ensuring

  • that home office staff and advisors are aware. Responsible to provide release notes and

  • training to all key stakeholders within the firm.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement of formal training resources which include, live training sessions, online trading modules, formal user guides.

  • Identify opportunities for service improvement.

  • Other projects and duties assigned based on business and client needs.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school + 2 years' work experience in advisory/brokerage operations and/or business systems technology; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Basic Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Experience working with Envestnet is a major plus. Strong proficiency in MS Excel. Proficiency in MS Office (Access, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).

  • Understanding of investment advisory products, fee billing, performance reporting, general securities processing, trading, portfolio accounting, and CRM systems considered favorable.

  • Flexibility: Is able to multitask, maintain composure in high-stress / high-visibility situations and change priorities as needed to accommodate a very dynamic business support model.

  • Communications: Can engage in clear and concise communications both verbally and in

  • writing. Effectively interacts in a cooperative and pleasant manner with colleagues. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients/customers, and vendors. Proper phone skills are required.

  • Reasoning/Mathematical: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Preferred Requirements:

Series 6, 7, and/or 65/66 licenses preferred.
