Key Responsibilities
Social Media Support- 90%

  • Create, schedule, and post content on the Institute's social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments or messages as appropriate
  • Assist in developing strategies to increase online visibility and engagement
  • Work in coordination with the College of Leadership and Public Service's Director of Marketing, Communications & Special Events to ensure consistent messaging and branding


Research Assistance- 5%

  • Conduct literature reviews and gather resources on conflict management topics
  • Assist faculty and staff with data collection, analysis, and report preparation
  • Help maintain organized records of research materials and findings


Classroom and Event Support- 5% only as needed.

  • Provide logistical support for classes, workshops, and events (e.g., setting up materials, taking attendance, distributing handouts)
  • Serve as a point of contact for students and guest speakers during Institute-sponsored activities
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed


Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled as a student at Lipscomb University
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with social media platforms and basic content creation
  • Interest in conflict management, communication, or related fields
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented


Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiar with social media management or research
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark)
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional evening or weekend events
  • Marketing Major

Hours & Compensation

Hours are flexible - will be discussed in the interview

Two hours with up to 4 hours depending on need.

$15 an hour

May be Federal Work Study Eligible.
