Position Summary This position is responsible for assisting Senior Network Staff in the development and support of the Center's web-based applications, ensuring the systems can provide the services needed to meet or exceed business goals and expectations. Duties & Responsibilities Assisting the Center's IT Technical Associate with maintenance of web projects Querying data to generate reports for senior supervisors Maintaining the database and making necessary modifications to sustain web based activities Generating and maintaining web forms Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Must be enrolled as graduate student at the University of Illinois at Chicago Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field Experience with php, javascript, HTML, MS Access and MS SQL Excellent Computer skills: MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel) Preferred Qualifications Video editing software experience Familiarity with WordPress, Section 508 Standards for Accessibility of Information Technology and assistive technology applications such as screen readers (e.g. JAWS for Windows) and screen magnifiers (e.g. ZoomText) The University of Illinois System is an equal opportunity employer, including but not limited to disability and/or veteran status, and complies with all applicable state and federal employment mandates.
