Position Summary
This position is responsible for assisting Senior Network Staff in the development and support of the Center's web-based applications, ensuring the systems can provide the services needed to meet or exceed business goals and expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Center's IT Technical Associate with maintenance of web projects
  • Querying data to generate reports for senior supervisors
  • Maintaining the database and making necessary modifications to sustain web based activities
  • Generating and maintaining web forms
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.


  • Minimum Qualifications

    • Must be enrolled as graduate student at the University of Illinois at Chicago
    • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
    • Experience with php, javascript, HTML, MS Access and MS SQL
    • Excellent Computer skills: MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel)


    Preferred Qualifications
    • Video editing software experience
    • Familiarity with WordPress, Section 508 Standards for Accessibility of Information Technology and assistive technology applications such as screen readers (e.g. JAWS for Windows) and screen magnifiers (e.g. ZoomText)
