Job Summary:


This position will monitor (including transactions, physical location, and cycle counts) production floor inventory assets on one or more programs as assigned. Maintain constant liaison with Inventory Control Supervisor, production areas, planning, receiving inspection and procurement. Obtain program information from Status Reports, production, purchasing, etc. Coordinates the virtual (electronic) and physical movement of materials. Provide direction to production and quality personnel regarding material processing. Report shortages to Inventory Control Supervisor. Diagnose troubled areas, communicate problems to supervisor, suggest solutions/improvements and take corrective action.



Responsibilities:




  1. Review accurate documentation of all material movement (incoming and outgoing) for all bond rooms as needed.




  1. Move open hardware back into Bond room from Production floor as needed.




  1. Move RTP hardware and assemblies from MRB to Bond rooms as required.




  1. Move rework hardware out of MRB as required.




  1. Move open hardware with the NC Hardware into MRB as required.




  1. Track all NC Hardware, ensure movement to MRB Crib




  1. Reconcile Work orders with Production and Materials as needed.




  1. Address balance of WO HW not put on NC and moved to MRB.




  1. Reconcile Work orders with Production and Materials (planning and coordinators)




  1. Attend MRB meeting as required.




  1. Pull electronic components for kits and issue kits to assembly as needed.




  1. Properly identify all materials, inclusive of electronic components as needed.




  1. Obtain shortage and production floor control reports and information daily.




  1. Perform transactions, cycle counts, and physical inventories as required.




  1. Back up Shipping & Receiving, Inventory Control, Production Control & Materials Technician.
  2. Explosive Magazine Audits with Inventory Control Supervisor




  1. Maintains workflow while balancing changing needs of the business. Communicates information to appropriate departments and individuals. Provides updates to management.




  1. Implements Lean methodologies when developing project plans/layouts to achieve company goals in cost, throughput, productivity, quality, and delivery.




  1. Ensures that work environment is clean, safe and that safety, health and environmental procedures and regulations are followed.




  1. Provides a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contributes to positive teamwork environment.




  1. Performs other duties as assigned. Accomplishes related results as needed.




  1. Must be able to lift and negotiate up to 50 pounds occasionally.



Qualifications:



Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelors' Degree preferred but not required. Interest in Higher Education Required.


Experience: Minimum of 3 years working familiarity and understanding of production control processes and procedures. Microsoft Office experience, including Excel and Word. Advanced System skills including: Matrix, WDS, TipQA, DCS.
