NV5 is seeking a Lighting Design Consultant to join our lighting design practice. This role supports the planning and design of performance, education, civic, hospitality, and entertainment facilities and is part of a closeknit team of highly qualified lighting designers. Our team is collaborative, technically curious, and deeply focused on delivering bestinclass solutions through thoughtful design, advanced analysis tools, and clear, responsive client communication. The Lighting Design Consultant will contribute to multiple concurrent projects, preparing reports and specifications, developing drawings, validating designs through illuminance modeling software, and conducting onsite lighting measurements as needed. The ideal candidate is detailoriented, organized, and capable of delivering accurate, highquality work in a dynamic consulting environment. Contribute to the project design team, bringing a creative, collaborative, evidence-based approach to lighting design
Qualifications
All candidates must be driven to satisfy the needs of end users and have the ability to deliver high caliber results in a timely manner while operating without direct supervision. Some overnight travel may be required. On occasion, it may be necessary to participate in off-hours luminaire aiming and testing, as needed to support our design services.
