ANIMAL CARE TRAINEES HOURLY WAGE!$19.25/hr. Do you have a background in Warehouse, Food Service, Retail/ Customer Service, OR Healthcare?? If so, we want to speak with YOU! MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE! Join the JAX Animal Care team and be part of a mission to improve human health worldwide. This is a full-time position that offers adynamic and supportive work environment. Animal Care is part of the production team at JAX and work requires attention to detail, working in a highly controlled clean room environment, fast paced that provides continuous physical movement. Responsibilities include: The incumbent works under direct supervision to learn the principles and practice basic animal care, husbandry, colony management, animal room maintenance and operations, information systems and record keeping. The incumbent is expected to progress following a prescribed curriculum, learning objectives and practical performance standards. The incumbent is responsible to learn and demonstrate basic proficiency in all aspects of the Primary Animal Care Training curriculum, including general animal care and husbandry duties, area sanitation, barrier entry/exit and safety procedures.
