AI Software Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an AI Software Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is an 18+ month contract opportunity.

In this role, you will consult on complex software engineering initiatives with broad impact. The position involves partnering with business stakeholders and product owners to identify AI-enabled opportunities, defining end-to-end technical solutions, and delivering AI-driven workflows, agents, and automations using large language models (LLMs) and enterprise AI services.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering
• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to understand business problems and define technical solutions
• Design, prototype, and deliver AI-driven workflows, agents, copilots, and automations using large language models (LLMs)
• Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise platforms and systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce) using secure APIs and orchestration patterns
• Act as a technical bridge between business, product, data, security, and engineering teams
• Lead solution architecture and design activities, including prompt engineering, API integration, and data integration
• Own solutions across the full lifecycle from concept through production deployment and continuous improvement
• Apply and promote best practices for responsible AI, including model risk management and data protection

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education
• Solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Experience designing and delivering solutions using large language models (LLMs) and enterprise AI services
• Ability to integrate AI capabilities with enterprise platforms like ServiceNow or Salesforce
• Experience with prompt engineering, API integration, and service orchestration
• Familiarity with security, privacy, risk, and governance considerations for AI solutions

Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
