Overview

The Manager, Enterprise Applications (Shared Services- Workday & Enterprise Platforms) leads the support, optimization, and operational management of enterprise business systems, including Workday and other core enterprise platforms. This role is responsible for ensuring system reliability, performance, and alignment with business operations across finance, HR, and administrative functions.

The Manager partners with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement of enterprise platforms. This role leads a team of analysts and administrators while maintaining oversight of day-to-day operations, configurations, releases, and vendor relationships.

What You Will Do:

Platform Operations & Support

  • Lead Tier 2 application support for Workday and other enterprise applications.
  • Ensure timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and system issues with minimal business disruption.
  • Monitor operational performance metrics (e.g., SLAs, ticket volume, resolution time) and drive improvements.

Configuration & Platform Management

  • Oversee configuration of enterprise systems including workflows, business processes, security roles, and system settings.
  • Ensure alignment with business requirements while minimizing unnecessary customization.
  • Maintain system documentation and configuration standards.

Release & Change Management

  • Manage SaaS release cycles, including testing coordination, validation, and deployment activities.
  • Establish release schedules and ensure stakeholder readiness.
  • Partner with engineering teams for complex enhancements and integrations.

Access Management & Security

  • Oversee user provisioning, role-based access, and security controls.
  • Ensure compliance with identity and access management standards and audit requirements.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as primary point of contact for enterprise application vendors.
  • Manage escalations, vendor performance, and licensing optimization.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and other business units to align system capabilities with operational needs.

Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of analysts supporting enterprise applications.
  • Set priorities, manage workload, and ensure quality delivery of services.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required

Work Experience:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in enterprise applications or SaaS platforms.
  • 3+ years of leadership or team management experience.
  • Strong experience supporting Workday and/or similar enterprise systems (HR, Finance, ERP).
  • Experience working in shared services environments (HR, Finance, Operations).
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture and business process frameworks.
  • Experience with configuration, integrations, and system administration.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, ITIL practices, and SaaS release management.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and priorities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Pay Range

USD $122,300.00 - USD $164,000.00 /Yr.
