The STI/HIV Disease Intervention Specialist (DIS) supports communicable disease prevention by conducting surveillance, case investigation, and outreach related to HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). This role focuses on preventing disease transmission through client education, confidential partner notification, testing support, and linkage to care.
