All about the role:
At Electrolux North America, we are on a journey to provide our consumers with a simply outstanding experience across our business areas and through all channels where this role supports the evolving routes to market through Direct to Consumer E-Commerce.
We are now looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join the Direct to Consumer team within Electrolux NA. The D2C team's core focus is to develop and leverage new routes to market delivering outstanding consumer experiences and profitable growth for Electrolux.
What you'll do:
As Senior Finance Manager you will drive profitable growth of Finished Goods, Aftermarket Sales and Services by developing the necessary tools, processes and knowledge to successfully drive the financial controlling aspects of the business. You will collaborate closely with the Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Product Line teams as well as the leaders within the Direct-to-Consumer team to establish best-in-class reporting and analytics for the expanding sales channel. You will act as a true business partner to the Direct-to-Consumer organization focused across all product lines and services. You will provide Financial and Commercial support and visibility to the Business leaders while acting as a change manager within the Controlling and wider organization towards the Consumer Experience focus and Digital route to market strategy. The D2C Senior Finance Manager will serve as the financial leader for the DirecttoConsumer business, owning full P&L responsibility and acting as a strategic business partner to commercial and operations leadership. This role requires strong business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to influence decisions that drive profitable growth. Qualifications:
- Own full P&L responsibility for the DirecttoConsumer business for 6 unique sales channels, including comprehensive analysis of revenue and cost drivers (COGS, cost to serve, marketing, and SG&A), identification of risks and opportunities, and development of actionable recommendations to improve profitability and return on investment.
- Drive pricing and margin improvement strategies, including recommendations on final mile and logistics cost improvements and SG&A efficiencies
- Owner of the financial planning processes for Direct-to-Consumer business including monthly forecast, annual budget and strategic plan. Provide weekly snapshot of current month performance versus forecast with insights for corrective action as needed
- Maintain exceptional accuracy of all topline / commercial accounting and financial reporting
- Develop management reporting and insights on volume, price, mix including reporting on sales promotions and Price Waterfall to create visibility on performance and drive top line excellence
- Management of monthly sales driving & marketing accruals and account reconciliations to ensure proper administrative expense recognition
- Management of monthly Paid Media spend, at granular level, to ensure channel profitability, working with the Paid Media team on various scenario planning models as well as reporting on actuals including customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, contribution margin, and return on paid media investment
- Evaluate & summarize full P&L for actuals and forecast, providing executive level commentary for major drivers of performance with proposed actions for deviations to plan
- Responsible for preparation of Direct to Consumer business cases for high growth channel including proposing actions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business investments. Evaluate and present business cases to Executive Leadership
- Coordinate the implementation of standardized tools and reporting to facilitate analysis across verticals such as product line and sales channel, including key performance indicators necessary to drive profitable growth
- Ad-hoc Reports and Presentations as needed by senior management
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Management
- 7+ years of experience in commercial or supply-chain finance, financial modeling and forecasting or related experience partnering with senior leaders.
- Minimum 3+ years in an eCommerce, Direct-to-Consumer, commercial or equivalent finance role?
- Proven track record of effectively managing a P&L, preferably in a commercial role.
