Description

The Director of Student Affairs and Clinical Operations, oversees the administrative duties clinical faculty while mentoring and advising students that are matriculating through the program.

Essential Functions



  • Collects performance data of both clinical staff and students through evaluations.
  • In conjunction with the Clinical Coordinator, negotiates affiliation agreements with clinical sites.
  • Along with the Clinical Coordinator, prepares necessary reports to maintain the program's accreditation.
  • Along with Clinical Coordinator, develops and implements policies and procedures that govern student recruitment, selection, and evaluation.
  • Facilitates the necessary documentation for student clinical site onboarding.
  • Implementation of plans for continuous self-assessment of the cardiovascular perfusion program.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities



  • Strategic planning to align departmental goals with long-term vision of the university.
  • Recruitment and onboarding management skills.
  • Organizational and process optimization to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable workflows and/or technology integration for clinical scheduling.
  • Communications with clinical education administrators to facilitate affiliation agreements.
  • Maintain necessary documents for accreditation compliance.
