Principal Architect: III (Senior) ServiceNow Architect

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Principal ServiceNow Architect position with a Regional Financial Institution located in Columbus, OH. This is a hybrid contract-to-hire opportunity.

Pay Range- $70.00-80.00 per hour, W2.

The Principal Architect participates on one or more project teams, supporting the design and modeling of the architecture and related solutions, component identification, quality reviews, and adherence to policies and standards. This Architect position will reside within the ServiceNow application space, dealing with platform architecture and both inbound and outbound integrations. They review existing business processes and establish metrics to improve business processes as well as support all architectural disciplines under their direction.

Responsibilities:

• Understand, advocate and augment the principles of information technology strategies
• Analyze enterprise business drivers to determine corresponding change requirements
• Analyze the IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
• Analyze technology industry and market trends, and determine their potential impact on the enterprise
• Define the principles to guide solution decisions for the enterprise
• Design and lead the implementation of an Enterprise Architecture (EA) based on enterprise business requirements and IT strategies
• Design and direct the governance activities associated with ensuring EA compliance
• Develop a road map of the evolution of the enterprise application portfolio from current to future state
• Coordinate solution architecture implementation and modification activities
• Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software product standards, as well as the design of standard software configurations
• Consult with application or infrastructure development projects to fit systems or infrastructure to architecture
• Identify the organizational and financial impact of the EA
• Document all solution architecture design and analysis work
• Work closely with the enterprise program management office (EPMO) or project office to ensure alignment of plans with what is being delivered

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in multiple IT areas, to include experience in at least 2 IT disciplines in a client/server or service-oriented architecture (SOA) environment, including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or operations
• Understanding of ServiceNow products and architecture including Core Platform, CMDB, Integrations, Security, Release process and update set promotion

Desired skills:

• 3+ years of experience as a solution architect
• 3+ years of leading Technology efforts
• 3+ years supporting ServiceNow platform
• Solution Architecture experience across the business, technology, data, application, and infrastructure domains
• Demonstrated proficiency and experience in performing Solution Architecture for large and complex solutions across the enterprise
• Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, and written) and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, business leaders, and subject matter experts using strong presentation skills
• Able to multi-task with strong time management and prioritization skills
