Job Description

The CMS Portfolio Operations team operates at the intersection of strategy, product, and technology, ensuring that product investments are prioritized, governed, and delivered through transparent, datadriven practices. This role partners closely with product and technology leaders to enable AIdriven transformation and provide clear visibility into portfolio health, risks, and value delivery-helping leadership focus resources on the highestimpact work and deliver meaningful business outcomes.

As Visa continues to evolve into an AIforward organization, this role plays a critical part in accelerating that transformation within CMS Product. The Manager will help identify, scale, and embed AIenabled ways of working-leveraging automation, analytics, and intelligent tools to improve decisionmaking, efficiency, and delivery outcomes across the portfolio.

Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned change leader with a strong track record of driving operational excellence across complex, global organizations. This role partners closely with product, technology, and portfolio leaders to shape how CMS plans, executes, measures, and communicates progress-using AIenabled insights and automation to continuously improve outcomes.

The Manager is accountable for evolving how work gets done within CMS by shaping operating practices that enable teams to design, build, and launch global solutions with greater speed, scale, and consistency, with AI embedded into the operating model.

Key Responsibilities

AI Transformation & Intelligent Operations

  • Identify and apply AI, automation, and agentbased approaches to improve portfolio planning, execution, and reporting.

  • Partner with product, technology, and central teams to pilot and scale AIenabled solutions such as copilots, workflow automation, and decisionsupport tools.

  • Translate emerging AI capabilities into practical, highimpact use cases that improve insight, efficiency, and value delivery.

  • Help leaders and teams understand where AI adds value-and where human judgment and collaboration remain essential.

Portfolio Operations & Executive Cadence

  • Lead AIenabled executive planning and review cadences (e.g., QBRs, operating reviews, ad hoc leadership discussions), providing clear insights on progress against product roadmaps, OKRs, transformation priorities, risks, and dependencies.

  • Enable executive decisionmaking on incremental investments and tradeoffs by synthesizing portfolio data, scenario insights, and forwardlooking analysis.

  • Continuously improve portfolio visibility and executive readiness through AIdriven analytics, automation, and adaptive operating cadences.

Coaching, Influence & Change Leadership

  • Coach leaders and teams on adopting AIenabled ways of working and operating effectively in ambiguity.

  • Proactively surface risks, remove barriers to execution, and escalate when needed to drive outcomes.

  • Act as a trusted advisor who can influence without authority, challenge constructively, and help leaders navigate change.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 8+ years of experience in product, strategy, operations, or services roles within technology, payments, or global B2B/B2B2C environments.
  • Experience supporting portfolio operations, executive reviews, and crossfunctional leadership forums.
  • Demonstrated success leading operating model or transformation initiatives at scale.
  • Strong understanding of AI, automation, and datadriven decisionmaking as a business leader.
  • Comfortable operating in fastpaced, ambiguous environments with minimal structure.
  • An AIforward, adaptive mindset with a passion for learning and experimentation.
  • Strong ability to synthesize complex information and communicate clearly with executives and teams.
  • Comfort challenging legacy ways of working and advocating for better outcomes.
  • High emotional intelligence, strong influencing skills, and a collaborative leadership style.
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems into clear priorities, actions, and decisions.
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 134,600 to 215,300 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
