As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Guard in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Allied Universal Officer in an education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activity, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, addressing concerns consistent with post orders and notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
• Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and documenting security-related incidents and/or daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
