As a Security Officer Campus Patrol in Hazleton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and communications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including offices, common areas, loading zones, and perimeter access points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report maintenance, lighting, or other property concerns that may impact daily operations.
• Support loss prevention and operational awareness efforts by observing equipment areas, shipping and receiving activity, and other sensitive spaces, then reporting suspicious activity and/or policy violations according to post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
