The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin offers an opportunity for faculty specializing in Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) medicine to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. Opportunity Highlights:
  • Full time ILD position offering all facets of academic medicine including opportunity to teach at multiple levels, take part in our growing research opportunities, and practice outpatient/procedures/critical care medicine

  • Open ICU allows hospitalists to see selected patients without critical care consult mandated unless critically ill requiring vasopressor support or mechanical invasive or non-invasive ventilation

  • Virtual nocturnal ICU coverage, with very limited after-hours critical care needs, allowing us to offer outstanding balance and quality of life

  • Leadership: Dr. Julie Biller attended medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She stayed in Chicago, at the University of Chicago, for her Internal Medicine Residency as well as her Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship. As a lifelong Packer fan, she returned to Milwaukee in 1990, and joined the MCW faculty practicing at Froedtert Hospital and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Dr. Biller provides care for adults with a wide variety of pulmonary conditions. Along with this, she established the Adult Cystic Fibrosis program, providing care for these individuals, participating in clinical research, and educating medical providers & the public about cystic fibrosis.
