As a Security Officer Lobby Reception in Bloomington, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk professional at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. In this stationary role, you will help to deter incidents while delivering a caring, reliable experience that reflects teamwork, integrity, and an innovative approach to serving people first.

Pay Rate: $20.65 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, visitor management practices, and Allied Universal standards for the location.
• Monitor access to the facility by greeting employees, visitors, and vendors, verifying credentials, and documenting entries and departures in accordance with site expectations.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Support front desk operations by answering phones, directing guests, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining accurate logs and reports related to daily activity.
• Observe activity in the lobby and reception areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual or suspicious behavior through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
