As a Armed Security Officer for Plaza in Lynwood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy commercial real estate location as an armed officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help support authorized entry, report suspicious behavior, and document security-related incidents in accordance with post orders.
• Assist with daily operations at the location by completing assigned reports, maintaining a visible presence, and providing directions and/or general assistance to tenants, customers, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
