This position requires strict adherence to all traffic laws, district policies, and safety regulations. The driver conducts pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in proper working condition and reports any maintenance concerns promptly. They maintain a clean and orderly environment on the bus while supervising student behavior to ensure safety at all times. The School Bus Driver must follow established routes and schedules while remaining flexible to changes when necessary. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with students, parents, and school staff in a professional manner. In emergency situations, the driver must act quickly and responsibly to protect passengers.
