As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will complete routine foot patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support store teams and shoppers with courteous assistance. You will monitor activity, respond to calls for service, and write clear reports while communicating with local partners as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, stock areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, shoplifting-related concerns, and medical incidents, and coordinate with store leadership and/or public responders as needed.
• Monitor alarms, video systems, and/or communications equipment when assigned, and report suspicious activity, damages, or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and actions taken in written reports, and assist with loss prevention awareness by maintaining a visible presence and providing directions and information to customers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
