Title of Position: Service and Sales Representative Position Overview: As a Service and Sales Representative (SSR), you deliver exceptional service to our members as the primary contact for members regarding the status of their account and any escalation. Assist members in setting up new business, consumer, and IRA accounts. Resolve account related concerns, provide general credit union information, intake and process loan applications including residential mortgage lending. Rotates to perform branch duties to include Member Service Representative activities. Assist Sr Branch Member Account Specialist and Member Service Representative staff with member approvals, questions, or concerns. Act on notary and Signature Guarantee requests. Why Join Visions? Position Overview As a Service & Sales Representative (SSR)-also known in the market as a Universal Banker-you are a trusted, frontline partner to our members. You serve as a primary point of contact for account needs, questions, and escalations, while helping members open and maintain accounts, understand products, and take next steps toward their financial goals. This role provides exposure to multiple aspects of branch operations-including account services and consumer lending support-without being a commissiononly or productiondriven sales role. What This Role Is-and Is Not This role is ideal for someone who: Enjoys helping members solve problems and understand their financial options Is comfortable having consultative conversations about products and services Wants a stable, branchbased role with opportunities to build banking skills over time This role is not: A commissiononly sales position A standalone mortgage originator role A temporary or seasonal assignment Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional member service as a primary point of contact for account needs and questions Assist members with opening consumer, business, and IRA accounts Resolve accountrelated issues and provide general credit union information Intake and process consumer loan applications, including residential mortgage lending Rotate through branch duties, including Member Service Representative (tellerstyle) activities Recommend appropriate products and services aligned with members' needs and goals Act on notary and Signature Guarantee requests once trained Schedule & Location FullTime (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM, with rotating Saturday mornings (8:30 AM-12:30 PM) Onsite at our Syracuse Branch (500 Erie Blvd W.) This role may provide occasional, planned coverage at nearby branch locations. Floating is local, scheduled, and intended to support branch continuity. Compensation $23.00 - $30.00 per hour (Hiring rate based on experience, education, geographic location, and relevant skills) Qualifications Required Associate degree with 1-3 years of related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience Comfort using Microsoft Office and standard office technology Ability to build rapport, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a branch environment Preferred 3-5 years of experience in banking, financial services, retail, or customerfacing roles Bachelor's degree Bilingual in Spanish Licensing & Training NMLS registration, Notary, and Signature Guarantee training are provided after hire Candidates with prior experience or credentials are encouraged to apply, but these are not required on day one Career Growth This role offers opportunities to grow into senior branch roles, lending support positions, or other memberfocused career paths over time, based on performance and organizational needs Additional Information At this time, Visions Federal Credit Union does not sponsor employment authorization or offer immigrationrelated support for this position.
