Summary:

Performs a variety of tasks to provide front-line support to customers by handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This role involves communicating with customers through phone, email, or chat while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and efficiency. It also works closely with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer concerns and to support overall operational goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate information regarding products, services, policies, and procedures
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or other communication channels
  • Assist customers in resolving basic issues or service requests
  • Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records in company systems
  • Escalate complex issues to senior representatives or supervisors when necessary
  • Follow company guidelines for customer service, compliance, and data privacy
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers and colleagues
  • Meet performance metrics such as response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to improve service quality
Competencies:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with common office software
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when handling difficult situations
Education and Experience:

Education: High school diploma or GED required

Associate or bachelor's degree preferred but not required

Experience: Six months or more work experience

Preferred: Previous customer service or call center experience

Familiarity with CRM or ticketing systems
