Senior* Associate, Design Operations* HYBRID IN ARIZONA (must be currently based there for consideration) Overview We are seeking a Senior* Associate in Design Operations to support design and research teams by improving how work gets done. This role focuses on building strong processes, enabling crossfunctional alignment, and ensuring teams have the structure, tools, and practices needed to deliver highquality design work at scale across digital products.* Role Responsibilities * Partner with designers, product managers, and engineers to define project scopes, timelines, and ways of working * Drive process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, clarity, and accountability across teams * Facilitate alignment and decisionmaking throughout the project lifecycle * Maintain clear, uptodate project information using productivity and collaboration tools * Support the adoption and refinement of operational processes by cocreating artifacts, documentation, and training materials * Identify risks, inefficiencies, and pain points across the endtoend design and delivery lifecycle and recommend improvements * Advocate for best practices, standards, and frameworks that support team health and operational maturity * Facilitate working sessions, workshops, and crossfunctional touchpoints as needed Qualifications * 3+ years of experience in a role focused on improving ways of working, operations, or program management * Experience working within or closely alongside design, product, or engineering teams * Strong understanding of design processes and the language of design, gained through a design background or deep partnership with designers * Proven ability to create and implement processes that improve collaboration and delivery outcomes * Selfstarter who is comfortable operating with minimal oversight and managing multiple priorities * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and share processes clearly * Demonstrated ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and drive next steps * Experience learning and applying new tools, methodologies, and frameworks Core Skills * Business process improvement * Crossfunctional communication and alignment * Change and innovation management * Knowledge and documentation management * KPI and metrics design * Requirements and resource management * Standards and bestpractice advocacy NicetoHave Skills * background in product, UX, or visual design * Familiarity with design systems * Experience using tools such as Figma, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Mural, Airtable, or similar platforms Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
