Mansfield Service Partners is looking for an Operations Manager for our Aurora, CO location. The Operations Manager leadership role responsible for overseeing the hands-on management of physical assets and field personnel. This individual manages a diverse team, including Drivers and Mechanics, to ensure superior customer retention, seamless new business integration, and peak operational performance of the On-site PM technicians along with our team that manages inventory and delivery of our Lubricants program Responsibilities
Fleet & Technical Operations
- Maintenance & Scheduling: Manage the personnel and oversee the scheduling of our on-site Preventative Maintenance (PM) service group.
- Asset Management: Partner with MSP's fleet team to manage Truck Repair and Maintenance (R&M) programs, ensuring all vehicles are compliant, safe, and cost-effectively maintained.
- Inventory Logistics: Direct delivery and stock management of lubricant inventory, ensuring accuracy in levels and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Personnel Supervision: Provide direct leadership, safety training, and performance management for Drivers, Service Technicians and Mechanics.
Coaching, Mentoring & Leadership
- Develop annual goals and coaching strategies for team to achieve company objectives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and address performance issues constructively and promptly.
- Promote Mansfield's Core Values, serving as a model for professional growth and positive accountability.
- Lead by example and execute companywide talent management programs, including but not limited to goal setting, performance reviews, succession planning, and performance management discipline.
Departmental Operational Leadership
- Forecast operational needs and create and manage effective communication bridges ranging from Yourself and your direct reports throughout all levels of the organization.
- Lead weekly departmental meetings and distribute status reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate team schedules to ensure 24/7 coverage for customer service and emergency maintenance needs.
Relationship Management & Sales Engagement
- Serve as the primary escalation point for high-level customer issues and complex onboarding requirements.
- Collaborate with Sales Directors and the Bid Team to gain visibility into the sales pipeline and prepare the operations team for new business.
- Advocate for customer needs across all seniority levels within the organization.
Business Integration & Technical Support
- Lead process improvements for onboarding new customers, including workflow design, account set-up, and business rule preparation.
- Participate in the design of technical offerings (mobile/web/data) to support complex customer needs and fuel system requirements.
Position Requirements
Education & Experience
- Formal Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: 3+years of management experience in the fuel and/or lubricants industry. Experience with maintenance, fleets, and drivers and mechanics preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of Fuel and Lubricant Industry experience required.
- CDL Hazmat and Forklift experience preferred not required
Qualifications & Characteristics
- Expertise in managing large accounts and interacting with executive-level clients.
- Strong technical aptitude regarding Truck R&M and PM service scheduling.
- Analytical ability to optimize lubricants, parts, and Filters inventory flows and business processes.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Work Environment
- Must be able to transition between an office environment (sitting, computer use) and a field/shop environment (oversight of mechanics and fleet assets).

- Position pays between $65-120,000 with annual bonus opportunities up to 10% of base salary.
