Manpower Administrator LOCATION:WPAFB, Dayton, OH JOB STATUS:Full-Time CLEARANCE:Secret, Must be a US Citizen TRAVEL: 10% Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Manpower Administrator position at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. WIS is part of the ISR/SOF Directorate (AFLCMC/WI), which is responsible for equipping our warfighters to win the fight. The Directorate executes a $22 billion acquisition portfolio developing, producing, testing, modifying, fielding, and supporting Air Force ISR and SOF platforms, and related sub-systems. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)
Master's degree in a related field with ten years of relevant experience, including DoD support OR Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience - OR 15 years of experience in related field
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Contractor will assist with management functions, processes, and analytical methods to gather, analyze and evaluate information required by the directorate.
- The Contractor will assist by drawing conclusions and devising solutions to situations relating to organizational structures and resource requirements, utilization, or control.
- The Contractor will assist with determining short-range and long-range functional manning requirements.
- The Contractor will assist in the evaluation and analysis of the disciplines and related specialized skill requirements for changing programs and missions for the directorate and divisional levels.
- The Contractor will assist with briefing representatives for the purpose of explaining human resource issues.
- The Contractor will assist in tracking directorate personnel manning and in preparing organization charts.
- The Contractor will apprise the Government human resource team of the location of spreadsheets, databases, briefing material and documentation generated in the performance of management analyst support functions.
- The Contractor will assist in evaluating and analyzing functional/non-functional military manpower data and organizational structures.
- The Contractor will assist in the management of the individual mobilization augmentee, officer promotion, military assignment cycle, duty title/rater changes, professional military education and advanced academic degree programs for the directorate.
- The Contractor will assist in updating/retrieving information in Command Human Resource Information System (CHRIS), RMIS, military personnel data system and directorate databases, included but not limited to SharePoint.
- The Contractor will assist with briefing the monthly status information to the director.
- The Contractor will assist as directorate alternate point of contact for Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and privacy act programs.
- The Contractor will assist in evaluating and analyzing functional/non-functional manpower data and organizational structures.
- The Contractor will assist in the management of the civilian performance management program, program resource viewer, applicable manpower studies/models which include, but are not limited to, acquisition & sustainment unit and new work programs for the directorate.
- The Contractor will assist in gathering and studying manpower documentation and making recommendations where appropriate.
- The Contractor will assist with SharePoint site development and maintenance.
- The Contractor will assist with developing, maintaining, updating, and redesigning required manpower and personnel spreadsheets, databases, briefing slides and documentation necessary for operation of directorate manpower.
- The Contractor will assist in updating/retrieving information in CHRIS, RMIS, Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) and directorate databases, included but not limited to SharePoint.
- The Contractor will assist with updating/creating directorate organization charts utilizing RMIS and other charting formats.
- The Contractor will assist with briefing the monthly status information to the director.
