Auria is looking to hire a Senior Project Financial Analyst to join the team. This role is hybrid with a preference of the candidate to be located in Colorado Springs, CO. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO: Act as the primary financial liaison between Program Managers and the Accounting department to ensure contract compliance and accurate reporting. Financial Analysis & Reporting: Develop and maintain Estimates-at-Completion (EACs), Estimates-to-Complete (ETCs), and burn rate analyses. Perform monthly variance analysis on actual costs versus planned budgets and recommend corrective actions. Prepare financial deliverables and customer reports (CDRLs) in accordance with contract requirements. Project Setup & Maintenance: Facilitate contract kick-off meetings and manage project setup in ERP systems (e.g., JAMIS Prime). Maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and monitor project funding levels to prevent overruns. Billing & Subcontractor Management: Review and approve client invoices to ensure accuracy and timely submission. Monitor subcontractor expenditures, track funding, and prepare monthly accruals. Pricing & Proposals: Support the development of cost estimates and price proposals for new opportunities, ensuring compliance with FAR and CAS. WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES: Mission-Driven Professional: Collaborative contributor motivated by the opportunity to develop cutting-edge solutions that protect and serve both the nation and the world. Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in project cost control within the federal government contracting environment. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency inMicrosoft Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and advanced formulas. Hands-on experience withJAMIS Prime ERPis highly preferred. Knowledge: Strong understanding of contract types, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time & Materials (T&M), and Cost Plus (CPFF/CPAF). Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS: Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) principles. Ability to obtain or maintain aU.S. Security Clearance. Experience supporting DCAA/DCMA audits. PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $115,000 - $130,000.
