The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of talent acquisition activities, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates for an assigned home base. This role partners with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, build strong candidate pipelines, and deliver positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.

Key Responsibilities



  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and screening to interviewing, selection, and offers.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities.
  • Source candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, social media, and college partnerships.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through clear communication and timely follow-up.
  • Utilize recruiting technology and systems for sourcing, applicant tracking, and onboarding support.
  • Maintain relationships with colleges and technical schools and attend career fairs.
  • Support recruiting initiatives, process improvements, and compliance with employment laws.


Qualifications

Required



  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred



  • 1-2 years of recruiting, HR, or related experience
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems or HR technology platforms.


Compensation:The pay range for this position is $53,000 to $65,000 + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The pay is determined by job related skills, training, education, and experience.

Location

This position will be based in or near one of our office locations of Sioux Center, IA or Sioux Falls, SD or Omaha, NE.

Travel

Up to 25% travel may be required to support recruiting activities, including career fairs, campus events, and occasional visits to jobsites. Travel frequency may vary depending on recruiting cycles and hiring needs.
