Olin Winchester, LLC ("Winchester"), considered one of the world's leading ammunition manufacturers, is seeking a Project Manager Supervisor to work at the US Army's premier small caliber manufacturing facility located in Independence, MO.

Focus: The Project Manager Supervisor is responsible for planning and developing large, complex project proposals and charters according to strict deadlines and in compliance with technical, safety and quality requirements. The Project Manager Supervisor collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, operations, procurement, and quality assurance teams.

Project Manager Supervisor Team Essential Job Functions:

• Lead a team of project manager to develop facility & equipment modernization project proposals and charters, ensuring alignment with technical requirements as well as Winchester and Government organizational goals.

• Identify and manage project stakeholders throughout key functional groups including engineering, production, safety, environmental, and maintenance.

• Manage escalations and remove roadblocks to keep proposals moving on schedule and completed on time.

• Prepare status reports and present updates to Winchester and Government leadership.

• Review/revise project charters and proposals to ensure quality and completeness.

• Ensure development of comprehensive project plans, including accurate definition of scope, objectives, deliverables, cost, and timelines to reduce the risk of change orders during project execution.

Project Manager Supervisor Team Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree*: technical/engineering degree is preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in project management or equivalent.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

• Management experience is preferred.

• Must have excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Experience working with Government or Department of Defense customers is preferred.

Location-Specific Requirements:

• Must have a valid US Driver's License.

• This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls if required.

• This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

• This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies.
