Overview
Our Nuclear Services Environmental Licensing Team is seeking a Radiation Protection Technician to join our team in our Oklahoma City, OK office location. This role blends technical expertise and safety leadership, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact. You'll conduct radiological surveys, operate equipment, and ensure compliance in critical operations. With opportunities to train others and safeguard personnel, it's a dynamic and inspiring role where your work truly makes a difference. Responsibilities The Radiation Protection Technician is responsible for performing and documenting radiological surveys in accordance with approved procedures and direction by the Radiation Safety Officer to ensure compliance with the site radiation safety program and applicable NRC license. The successful candidate must be familiar with operational checks of portable and benchtop radiological survey instruments, must be capable of accurately documenting survey reports in electronic templates, must maintain required logs and documentation, and be able to work in an outside environment.
