As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Services in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to requests, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while providing a customer-focused presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and/or media campus environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter lines, noting unusual activity and reporting concerns per post orders.
• Control access by monitoring doors, gates, and/or credential checkpoints, checking identification when required and directing guests to the appropriate location.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and use site systems such as radios, phones, and/or visitor management tools to document and communicate security-related information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
