Job Description




As a Security Guard - Full-Time Patrol Residential in Clearwater, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential community, you will monitor property areas, complete routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support residents and guests with courteous service, clear communication, and prompt reporting of concerns. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential community.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, documenting concerns, and notifying appropriate parties per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, building exteriors, amenity spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access issues.
  • Monitor access points and community rules compliance, including observing for unauthorized entry, assisting with guest check-in processes when assigned, and reporting suspicious behavior per site policy.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate with property management and/or Allied Universal supervision, and use required communication devices and systems as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
