As a Security Officer - Part-Time Hospital Patrol in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Allied Universal Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and help identify and report security-related concerns. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service, clear communication, and timely incident documentation. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical emergency notifications, and access control concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor and report security-related conditions such as unsecured doors, unauthorized persons in restricted areas, suspicious behavior, and hazards, and communicate updates to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete security-related logs and incident reports, support investigations with clear observations, and coordinate with site leadership and/or local responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be willing and able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Be willing and able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be willing and able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
