As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a premier retail location, you will monitor and patrol sales floors and back-of-house areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm professionalism. You will support store teams and guests through strong communication and customer service, while living our agile, reliable, innovative values through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail and/or mall setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and timely notification to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, stock areas, and the perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points, maintain awareness of guest and associate traffic flow, and assist with crowd management during peak shopping periods and special events.
• Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs, and communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal supervision and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
