As a Security Officer - Entry Screener Full-Time in Decatur, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a smooth operation by screening associates and visitors, monitoring access points, and maintaining a visible presence. You will communicate clearly, document security-related activity, and partner with site leaders to help identify and address concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen associates, visitors, and vendors at designated entry points by conducting access control checks, checking credentials, and performing package and/or bag inspections as directed by site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around shipping and receiving areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, monitor alarms and/or CCTV when assigned, and communicate observations to supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
