As a Security Officer - Innovation Center Patrol in South San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization where required, manage visitor and contractor entry, and direct personnel according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, assisting with evacuations, and supporting arriving responders as directed by post orders.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, use communications equipment and/or monitoring systems as assigned, and promptly report maintenance hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
