As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driver in Donna, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will perform high-visibility patrols, respond to incidents, and support store teams and shoppers with strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, and you will use your armed guard credentials and Level III training to help manage security-related concerns, document activity, and act with integrity as part of a reliable team.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store staff while following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, requesting law enforcement and/or emergency services, and preserving the scene as directed.
• Monitor entrances, loading areas, and high-traffic zones; assist with access control, observe for suspicious behavior, and support loss prevention and/or management with security-related observations.
• Complete detailed written reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and client interactions; communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required for Texas only.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
