As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to discourage security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and assist visitors and staff with a customer-focused approach. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures.
• Control access by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or authorization when required, and directing visitors to appropriate areas.
• Document patrols, incidents, and/or unusual conditions in written reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
