As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a highly visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to situations with professionalism, communicate clearly with shoppers and store teams, and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. This post requires an Armed Guard Card or License.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, storefront areas, and perimeter, monitoring for unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access to designated areas, monitor entrances and exits, and assist with loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting suspicious behavior and/or theft indicators.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience OR a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Possess a state, county, or city issued security license preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
