Job Description




As a Security Officer - Dispatch Operator in Port Saint Lucie, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will coordinate security-related calls, monitor alarms and video, and communicate updates to on-site teams and hospital staff. You will document activity, support incident response, and help to deter issues through clear, professional service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Operate the dispatch console by monitoring alarms, CCTV, access control activity, and radio traffic, and dispatching officers and/or notifying clinical and facility personnel as needed.
  • Receive and triage calls for service, gather key details, and communicate clear instructions and updates to responding personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate incident reports, dispatch logs, and shift activity documentation, escalating time-sensitive issues through the chain of command.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Hospital vaccines are required.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
