Team Dietitian (Temp/Casual )

We are seeking a qualified Sports Dietitian to work exclusively with our Men's and Women's Swim & Dive teams for a 3-month period during the spring competitive season. This position will provide specialized nutrition guidance to enhance the athletic performance, recovery, and overall well-being of our student-athletes. They will report directly to the Director of Sports Nutrition.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct initial nutrition assessments for team members
* Develop individualized nutrition plans tailored to designated sports athletes
* Provide nutrition education for pre-competition, competition day, and recovery
* Assist with hydration strategies appropriate for different training intensities and
competition environments
* Host weekly office hours for one-on-one athlete consultations
* Collaborate with the Health & Performance staff to integrate nutrition protocols with
training cycles

* Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required

* Board Certification as a Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) preferred

* Hold a licensure in the State of Minnesota, or be able to acquire within 3 months of hire

* Experience working with collegiate or competitive track & field/cross country athletes preferred

* Strong knowledge of sports nutrition principles for endurance and power athletes

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay Range: $35.00; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
